Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I apologize for the lack of inactivity in the group recently. Life gets in the way doesn't it? I'd like to take the time to address a couple of issues.

First off, I am looking to add another moderator to the group. I am going to be picky, I'll admit that. I definitely want someone with a good sense of humor. If you are interested, feel free to send a message. I won't be responding to the messages, I will only be taking in account that you are interested in being a moderator and I will put you on my list of individuals to look into.

Second, I want to address the subject of quality control. In recent months what is being accepted into the group by moderators may have changed slightly. We are a humor club. If the submission isn't humorous enough to the moderator that is voting on the deviation, then it is their choice to reject it. Whether or not the deviation can be considered funny enough or not is at the discretion of the moderator. That doesn't mean the artwork isn't good or that it isn't funny in someone else's eyes. It's just not for the club.

Third, I cannot stress enough that we will NOT accept deviations that contain ONLY fan characters.

And lastly I'd like to say that the moderator whom was taking care of the SoniComic Project hasn't been active as of late, so I'll do my best to take care of submissions and the comic project as well.

Please realise that the moderators are people too, and we get busy sometimes. Thanks for your understanding guys and I hope to see many funny submissions in 2013!
